WIT AWARDS celebrates women technology executives for their accomplishments as leaders in business, visionaries of technology, and women who make a difference in their communities. Additionally, one special middle or high school girl is recognized as the Girl of the Year and one special young woman is awarded Collegiate of the Year.

WIT’s Women of the Year in Technology Awards celebrate female visionaries of technology, ground-breakers in business and remarkable leaders who make a difference in our community.

Award winners will be announced at WIT”s awards Gala in November at a venue located in Atlanta, across the following categories:

  • Large/Enterprise Organization, representing companies with more than 2,500 employees
  • Medium/Mid-Size Organization, representing Mid-Size/Medium Organizations (251-2,500 employees) and Education/Institutions private)
  • Small/Emerging Organization, representing companies with 250 employees or less
  • Non-Profit Organization, representing public/private non-profits with 50 employees re more
  • Non-Profit Educational Institutions, representing public Educational Institutions
  • Build Her Up Award, awarded to a man-ambassador of WIT that has demonstrated time and time again his support for WIT, women in their careers and doing what he can do be a constant advocate of women
  • Girls Of The Year Award, praises special participants from the WIT Girls program for the exemplary achievement and education for STEAM studies

WIT’s 2019 Women of the Year awards presented by T-Mobile celebrates women who are actively engaged in Georgia’s STEAM community with roles in Small, Medium, and Large/Enterprise organizations. This year we will celebrate a woman in the Non-profit arena as well. Additionally, one special middle or high school girl is recognized as the Girl of the Year (GOTY) for her participation in the WIT GIRLS program.
